Sunrise is the asset gateway for Solana. It coordinates bridging, liquidity, and distribution so that new onchain assets — tokens, stocks, commodities, RWAs — can list on Solana with a live, tradable market from day one. It’s not a bridge, not a market maker, not a launchpad: it’s the coordination layer that ties all of those together.
A bridge moves tokens from one chain to another. Sunrise coordinates the entire market launch: canonical asset creation, liquidity provision, and ecosystem-wide distribution. Bridging is one input — Sunrise handles everything else required for a real, tradable market to exist on day one.
Do I need to bridge anything to buy a Sunrise-listed asset?
No. Every Sunrise listing is directly tradable on Solana with SOL or USDC from the moment it goes live. Depositing from the origin chain is only for users who already hold the asset natively elsewhere. See Deposit to Solana.
Which wallets and venues support Sunrise-listed assets?
Sunrise-listed assets are integrated across the Solana ecosystem, including Jupiter, Phantom, Backpack, Orb, Axiom, Mayan, Orca, Titan, Drift, DFlow, Kamino, Solflare, Meteora, and Portal.
Swap quotes are inclusive — what you see in the quote is what you receive, minus only Solana network fees paid from your wallet. For deposits and withdrawals, the quote shows the full cost upfront (bridge fee, relayer fee, and estimated completion time) before you sign. Trading fees on DEXs are set by the venues, not Sunrise.
Sunrise is incubated by Wormhole Labs and built on Wormhole’s cross-chain infrastructure (NTT/WTT). Security features include configurable rate limits, two-sided reconciliation, anomaly detection, and a heterogeneous Guardian network. Note that the bridging layer is per-asset: tokens that already have their own multichain solution (NTT, OFT, CCIP, or custom) keep it, and Sunrise coordinates around it; tokens without one are typically deployed with Wormhole NTT.
