Holding the canonical Solana version of an asset doesn’t lock you in. You can withdraw back to the asset’s origin chain at any time.

How it works

A withdrawal is the reverse of a deposit: the canonical token is burned or locked on Solana, and your tokens are released or minted on the origin chain. Supply is reconciled on both sides of the transfer.

Before you start

  • Connect the Solana wallet that holds the token.
  • Connect a wallet for the destination network to receive the funds.
  • Keep a small amount of SOL in your Solana wallet for the transaction fee.

Withdraw a token

1

Open the withdraw page

2

Choose the token

Select the token in your Solana wallet that you want to withdraw. The destination defaults to the token’s origin network — for example, UNI withdraws to Ethereum and DMC withdraws to Sui. Only tokens with a bridge route can be withdrawn; see Listed assets.
3

Enter an amount

Type how much you want to withdraw. Sunrise quotes the transfer and shows the amount you’ll receive, the fee, and the estimated completion time.
4

Sign with your Solana wallet

Confirm the transaction in your Solana wallet.
5

Wait for the transfer

Sunrise tracks the transfer until it confirms on the destination network. Most withdrawals complete within a few minutes. Delivery is automatic — there is no separate claim step.

Receiving native gas tokens

Tokens that are the gas token of their origin network unwrap automatically on arrival. For example, withdrawing HYPE to HyperEVM, MON to Monad, AVAX to Avalanche, or SUI to Sui delivers the native token, ready to use for gas — no manual unwrapping needed.

Fees and timing

  • The quote shows the bridge fee and estimated completion time before you sign.
  • You pay the Solana transaction fee in SOL.
  • Solana finality is fast, so withdrawals are typically quicker than deposits from slower networks.

Things to know

  • Withdrawals are subject to the same rate limits as deposits. Large transfers may queue if a limit is reached.
  • You’ll need gas on the destination chain to use the asset after it arrives.
  • Only withdraw to a wallet you control on the origin chain — not to an exchange deposit address, unless that exchange explicitly supports direct deposits of the asset.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to do
Token can’t be selectedThe token doesn’t have a withdrawal route — it may be Solana-native (for example BP or DIME). Check Listed assets.
Quote expiredRequest a new quote and sign promptly.
Transfer pending for a long timeThe destination network may be congested. The transfer will complete; check back in a few minutes.
