Before you start
- Connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Backpack, Solflare, or another detected wallet).
- Keep a small amount of SOL in your wallet for network fees.
- If the token you want to trade is on another network, deposit it to Solana first.
Swap tokens
Select your pair
On the Sunrise home page, choose the token you want to pay with and the token you want to receive. You can search by name or symbol — the full list is on the listed assets page.
Enter an amount
Type the amount you want to swap. Sunrise fetches live quotes from multiple routing sources and displays the amount you’ll receive.
Review the quote
Check the receive amount and price impact before confirming. Quotes refresh continuously; if a quote expires before you sign, request a new one.
Wait for confirmation
The transaction is submitted to Solana and polled until it confirms — usually within a few seconds. You’ll see the result in the widget and in your portfolio history.
Quotes and pricing
- Aggregated routing. Sunrise sources quotes from multiple Solana liquidity providers and selects the best execution for your trade.
- Price impact. Large trades relative to available liquidity move the price. The widget shows the impact before you sign.
- Fees. Quoted amounts are inclusive — what you see in the quote is what you receive, minus only Solana network fees paid from your wallet.
Troubleshooting

| Quote expired | Prices moved before you signed. Request a fresh quote and confirm promptly. |
| Transaction reverted | The swap failed onchain, usually because the price moved beyond tolerance. Your funds are unchanged — retry with a fresh quote. |
| No route found | There’s no available route for this pair or amount right now. Try a smaller amount or a different pair. |
| Stuck on pending | Solana congestion can delay confirmation. The app polls for about a minute; if it times out, check your wallet activity before retrying to avoid a duplicate swap. |
